AutoCAD was originally developed by an engineering firm named The Thomas J. Watson Company (also known as "Watco"), who were named after the company's founders Thomas and John J. Watson. Watson was an innovator and founder of the world’s largest manufacturer of industrial robots, and was very interested in what he called "the automating of process design." He founded The Watson Company with the goal of automating the process of designing complex machine tools for various industries, including steel and automotive companies.

Watco became a part of Hexagon, a Japanese conglomerate, in 1998. During its existence, Watco had offices in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Palo Alto, California, with research and development staff in Helsinki, Finland, New Delhi, India, Bangalore, India, and Chengdu, China.

It was in 1982 that the first commercial version of AutoCAD was released by Watco. The first iteration of AutoCAD was named AutoCAD Drafting System. It was a desktop program that ran on microcomputers with internal graphics controllers. It was designed to be used by one or two users and required the use of large drawing boards and manual keyboards, and it had many limitations.

In 1985, Watco released the first version of AutoCAD that supported multiple users. It used the term "Dynamo Workbench", which was derived from the Greek word meaning "to move by force". It allowed users to interact with the software using a mouse as a controller. As the number of users increased, so did the demand for a more flexible tool that could handle multiple users and was still easy for users to learn. Xamarin.Mac / MonoTouch Binding Ipad Control

I have made some simple gesture recognisers that toggle an ImageButton depending on the angle of the Touch event. My problem is that I cant get this working on the Ipad which has the wrong angle threshold.
In the iphone simulator I get all angles if I touch an object at an angle of 45 degrees and if I touch at angle of 25 the the objects center point is touched.
In the Ipad simulator if I touch the object at an angle of 25 degrees then the image is always centre to the object.
I have enabled touch gestures on the imagebutton in the interface builder and have set the "tap" code in the gestureRecognizer Touched event.
I am running Xamarin.Mac with the monoTouch profile on my macbook air.
